Greetings King Families,

This week is our last full week of October, with conferences and a secondary break coming the week after.

Here’s what to expect this week:

  • Saturday, October 24, there will be a garden work party in the Edible Schoolyard.

Looking to next week:

  • Teacher conferences are happening next week! On Tuesday (10/27), Wednesday (10/28), and Thursday (10/29), there will be an early release day schedule at 12:15 PM. Monday, October 26, will be a normal release at 3:05 PM.

  • The primary window for Teacher Conferences will be on Tuesday, October 27, from 1:30 - 5:30 PM, and Wednesday, October 28, from 2:30 - 6:30 PM. We will send a separate message tomorrow with more details.

  • On Friday, October 30, there will be a BUSD Secondary Break, with no school. Classes will resume on Monday, November 2.

Thanks, and have a great week ahead!

With love,

Michael Tison Yee
