King's Week Ahead - Week of October 12, 2026

Greetings King Families,

This week is also a short week, with no school tomorrow (Monday, October 12), in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, October 13.

Here’s what to expect this week:

• Tuesday, October 13, is Picture Day makeups. This is specifically for students who did not take their picture last week. Students were able to leave Picture Day last Tuesday with a personalized slip with info about their pictures. Blue Note Photography should have previews ready within a few weeks.

• Grades are due this week for Quarter 1. If you have any questions, please be sure to reach out to your teacher(s) of record at the end of the week.

Looking further ahead:

• Teacher conferences will be the week of October 26, with specific conferences dates of October 27, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM, and October 28, from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. More details will be coming out soon!

Thanks, and have a great week ahead!

With love,

Michael Tison Yee
