King's Week Ahead - Week of November 9, 2025

Greetings King Families,

This week will have an unusual cadence, with school tomorrow and a no-school holiday on Tuesday. Classes from Wednesday through Friday will be as normal.

Here’s what to expect this week:

• Tuesday, November 11, is Veteran’s Day, with no school.

• On Thursday, November 13, there will be an English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) meeting from 8:45 - 9:45 AM in the Staff Lounge

Looking further ahead:

• Picture Day Makeups will be on Wednesday, November 19. This year, makeups will prioritize those who did not get their photos taken during the last Picture Day. Additionally, those who ordered pictures and are unsatisfied with them will be allowed to retake their photos as well. For these students, they will need to bring their pictures back to school to give to the photographer.

• We are not far from Fall Recess and Thanksgiving Break! We will have no school from November 24 to November 28.
