King's Week Ahead - Week of March 9, 2026

Greetings King Families,

The end of Quarter 3 is Friday! With the formal half-way mark through the second semester, we are looking to stay focused with strong attendance and pushing our learning as we head toward the end of the year and our state tests.

Here’s what to expect this week:

• If your 6th Grade student expressed interest in AVID as an elective for next year, an application was sent home with them. It is due to Ms. Ortega by the end of the day on Tuesday, March 10.

• Quarter 3 ends on Friday, and all grades for Quarter 3 should be finalized next week in Infinite Campus. Be sure to check in with your student(s) about progress.

Looking further ahead:

• Cobra-Thon (formerly the Run-a-Thon) packets for pledges have already gone out through Advisory classes. Encourage your students to secure pledges and to participate! Prizes heavily support participation for students this year! The event is on Wednesday, March 18 during PE classes.

• Open House for Middle Schools is on March 26, with programming from 6:45 - 8:00 PM. More information to come in the next few weeks.
