The Week Ahead - Week of October 20, 2025

Greetings King Families,

Thanks to all who supported this year’s Fall Festival, which was an incredible success in the first iteration on a Friday night. It was an afternoon and evening filled with good company, joy, and delicious food. We are so grateful for our community for coming together in these precious moments!

Here’s what to expect this week:

• Wednesday, October 22, is our School Picture Day. Students will take their photos with their PE or Dance teacher. Please see the flyer here for picture ordering information.

• Our first Equity Family Night is going to be held on Thursday, October 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Ms. Abbie Gregor and Yesenia Moran will communicate more information about the event.

Looking ahead, here are some items to be aware of:

• On Monday (tomorrow), we will send out detailed information about Parent-Teacher Conferences. which will be happening from 1:30 - 5:30 PM on Tuesday, October 28, and from 2:30 - 6:30 PM on Wednesday, October 29 for the upper grades (7th and 8th). 6th Grade conferences will be in a student-led format, hosted by their Advisory or one Core instruction teacher, and they will be reaching out to schedule time slots with you. Sign-ups for the upper grades will be released with detailed information tomorrow.
