SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS



  • The Battle of Berkeley for 7th/8th Girls Volleyball will be on Thursday, 10/23 at BHS. Our 7th grade team will play in the semifinal game at 4:30pm vs. Willard, followed by our 8th grade team's semifinal game at 5:30pm vs. Longfellow.


  • The Battle of Berkeley for varsity boys flag football will be held on Friday, 10/24 at BHS. The boys semifinal game will kickoff at 6pm, which will be King vs. Longfellow.


    

  • The Battle of Berkeley for Girls Flag Football will be held on a different date so the girls can be featured and have their own night to play. Game date/time to be announced soon.

Girls Basketball 


8th Grade (1st Practice):  Tue., 10/28 (1:30 - 4:00pm) 

Practice Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:15 - 4:45pm)


7th Grade (Tryout):  Fri., 10/24 (3:15 - 4:45pm) 

7th Grade (1st Practice): Mon., 10/27 (12:30 - 3:00pm) Added practice day

Practice Days:  Wed., (2:30 - 4:00pm) and Fri (3:15 - 4:45pm)


6th Grade (Tryout):  Thu., 10/23 (4:30 - 6:00pm) 

Practice Days: Mondays and Thursdays (4:30 - 6:00pm)


Boys Soccer


Varsity (7th/8th):  Mon., 10/20 and Thu., 10/23 (3:15 - 4:45pm)

Practice Days:  Mondays and Thursdays (3:15 - 4:45pm)


JV (6th/7th):  Wed., 10/22 (2:30 - 4:00pm) and Fri., 10/24 (3:15 - 4:45pm) 

Practice Days: Wednesdays (2:30 - 4:00pm) and Fridays (3:15 - 4:45pm)

Haunted House Support Wanted!


King students will have the opportunity to tour our annual haunted house put together by 8th grade leadership on Wednesday and Thursday next week from 9-12. 


We could use adult support in the following ways: 


1) be in the haunted house to support our actors and tour guides (any part of the time would be amazing!)

2) staff a break room for the actors & tour guides

3) bring in some snacks for the break room

4) donate some Halloween decorations you are ready to part with

Hello King Families, 


We invite you to a beautiful family event this Saturday for Dia de Los Muertos. 


Our own Latinos Unidos Club will be there, hosting a table to fundraise for our club, selling aguas frescas. 


Please stop by if you have a chance, and show our students some support!

When: Saturday 10/25/25

Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm 


There will be so many free resources and things for you to buy as well. If you do make sure to check out the Altar Exhibition that will be set up for families to enjoy. Stay and watch all the amazing performances that will be held. See you there!

Fri-yay Coffee Pop-ups @ King


King Coffee is on Friday mornings during drop-off time at the corner of Grant and Rose. Hope to see you there on dry days to meet and mingle with other King parents. (Bring your own mug if you remember to.)
