Crafts Needed to Sell
The 8th grade team is currently collecting handmade crafts to sell at the King Winter Craft Fairs that will take place on the nights of the Winter concerts (December 17& 18).
Everyone in the King community is welcome to make and donate crafts for this event.
All proceeds will be used to support the 8th grade Builders Week.
All crafts can be dropped off with Ms. Puckett (room 105) up until the night of the first fair.
(Any 8th grade students or Parents/guardians of 8th graders who make and donate crafts, will receive fundraising credit!!!)
Do you have toys or games that your kids have outgrown or lost interest in?
During the Craft Fairs, we will also have a "Pre-loved Toys and Games" table of items for purchase. If you have an excellent condition (gift quality!) toy or game to donate, please drop it off in the office for Ms. Puckett during the school day from now up until the night of the first fair.
Drama Performances Next Thurs & Fri

Hello all,
I am pleased to invite you to the...
Advanced Drama Winter One Act!
8th grade actors will perform The A.I. Play, by Don Zolidis on Dec 11 and 12 at 6:30pm in the school auditorium.
"When Eleanor uses a chatbot to write a paper on The Great Gatsby for her, she figures it’s not that big of a deal. But when her chatbot writes the best essay on The Great Gatsby ever, she’s sent to a special school for genius children...And that school might not be a school, it might just be prison. Now Eleanor has to lead a jailbreak with her friends—can she escape without the help of artificial intelligence?"
The show is a fast-paced satire and will run about 30-40 minutes.
Please see the attached flyer for details.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
