King's Week Ahead - Week of December 1, 2025

Greetings King Families,

We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing break! This week, we enter the last few weeks of the first semester, with classes resuming tomorrow (December 1). This is a good time to check grades, ensure that any missing assignments are complete, and that any retake opportunities for quizzes and mastery are taken advantage of!

Here’s what to expect this week:

• The STAR Winter assessment will be happening this week in English and Math classes. This assessment is an important one that provides a useful data point in monitoring student progress on the year and one that helps our school to determine if students are in need of intervention in the second semester. We encourage families to have a conversation with their student(s) about being on time to school, getting a good night’s rest all week, and trying their best on these tests.

• On Saturday, December 6, the Edible Schoolyard team will be hosting a garden work party from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
