King's Week Ahead - Week of January 26, 2026

Greetings King Families,

This is the last week of January coming up! We will begin the week with a Professional Development day for BUSD staff on Monday, January 26. There will be no school for students. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 27.

Here’s what to expect this week:

• On Wednesday, January 28, 6th Graders will go on their Exploratorium Field Trip. Please reach out to teachers or Ms. Ortega if you have any questions.

• As a friendly reminder, if your 6th or 7th Grade student was absent on Thursday and/or Friday last week, they will need to turn in their elective request form directly to Ms. Ortega or Ms. Mahmood as we begin to plan for next year!
