Cell Phone, iPods, Etc.
Cell phones, iPods, and other electronic communication or game devices are not to be visible or used during the school day. Devices must be shut off at the start of school and remain off during the school day. Devices must not be left in vibrating mode. The school will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Prohibited Activities
Riding bikes, scooters, or skateboards on school grounds
Prohibited Substances
Smoking materials, including matches and lighters
Controlled substance, including alcohol
Firecrackers, fireworks, or explosives
Items that can injure another person, including objects designed to look like a weapon, such as air guns, cap guns, pellet guns, and laser pointers
Water guns, stink bombs, water balloons
Behavior
threats to cause grave harm or injury to staff, other students, or school property
disrespect of defiance in speech, gesture, or action toward staff
behavior that disrupts any class or school activity
fighting, including play fighting, or encouraging a fight
bullying or harassing another student
Detention
Serve Detentions Right Away
You are responsible for serving any detention you receive on the day it was given or the day following. Students who don’t serve a detention will be required to serve a detention for an hour after school on Friday. Ms. Montgomery will phone home to let parents know the student will be serving the detentio
