To enroll at King Middle School a student must reside in the King zone. Visit the Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD) website to check whether your address is within the zone. The enrollment process is different for families continuing from BUSD elementary schools and families new to the District.
Families new to BUSD must first enroll their students in the District, and request assignment to King (students are also eligible to attend Longfellow if desired). Visit the BUSD website for details and deadlines.
Families continuing from BUSD elementary schools will be provided with materials to select their middle school in the New Year (2012). Families may chose to attend Longfellow or King.
Once assigned to King, families will be instructed to complete enrollment with King's Registrar, Herreize Jones, usually in April/May. Information about this second step for enrollment is mailed to the families of students assigned to King. | Contact |
